Following my personal roadmap, I’m stepping back from social interactions. I won’t be attending any more conferences—except the one I’m already committed to (which I announced a few months ago). I’m also stepping away from social media. Lately, it’s become exhausting dealing with people who feel entitled to tell me what I should talk or complain about, and some even bring it up in person. #sigh I’m done with that.
This isn’t a bad thing. I’m looking forward to focusing on what truly makes me feel useful and happy: building tools and writing. I’m done chasing approval online, posting content just to be noticed, or constantly promoting my work. It’s time to create on my own terms, at my own pace.
From now on, all my work will be published on my blog, GitHub, and company pages. No more spamming people with pointless videos and teasers on social networks. I want my work to speak for itself, and I want to spend my energy where it truly matters.
